Louise Halsall  – Registered Osteopath

louise-osteopath-editedLouise is a fully qualified Osteopath registered with GOsC (General Osteopathic Council) offering a range of hours at the Holistic Hands Wellbeing Centre.

Osteopathy can be used to treat a wide range of medical conditions and injuries from work, recreation and sports related activities.  Treatments are tailored to the specific needs of the patient and can be used to treat young and old, pregnant women and sports people.

Osteopaths work with the structure and function of the body, working with the principle that your well-being depends on the smooth functioning of all joints and soft tissues. This means that during your treatment Louise will use touch, physical manipulation, stretching and massage to improve joint mobility, relieve muscle tension and help your body’s own healing mechanisms. The personalised nature of the treatment means that patients will often be given additional advice on posture and exercise to help aid recovery and prevent symptoms recurring.
Osteopathy has been used to successfully treat a range of conditions including recurrent back, neck and shoulder pain. It can also be used to treat muscular skeletal misalignment due to your posture, muscle tension, sciatica and rheumatic pain. Osteopaths are primary medical healthcare professionals with extensive anatomical and physiological training.

Please call reception on 01480 869404 for more information and to schedule an appointment with Louise.

Semi Permanent Make Up

Semi-permanent make-up, also known as micropigmentation, is a form of temporary cosmetic tattooing which allows you to have long-lasting eyeliner and lip colour as well as being able to shape and contour your eyebrows, or add a beauty spot.

The procedure involves tiny particles of pigment being placed beneath the surface of the skin. This pigment will stay in the skin for a number of years, gradually breaking down and fading with time, although the longevity of the results will depend on your age and skin type.

Maintenance and colour boost treatments should be carried out each year – 2 years.
